The Jared and Jennys jewelry store, located at 1709 N. Clark St., is closing its doors on May 15.

The store was originally open from March 5 to June 5 and had a total of 2,500 employees.

It closed on June 10 after Jared and his wife, Jennifer, were charged with aggravated stalking in connection with a December 2015 incident.

Jennifer Holliday told ABC News she had not spoken with her husband since the incident and that he was in the process of filing for divorce from his ex-wife.

She said she and her husband are in “financial ruin.”

The Hollidays were arrested and charged with third-degree criminal stalking, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

A spokesperson for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff said they did not have any comment at this time.

The closure comes at a time when the popularity of the Jared and Jenys brand of jewelry has exploded in recent years, with a $6 billion sales in 2016.
